A tight footprint between the highway right of way and pavement shoulder, along with an alignment perched on the top of an existing ditch, provided a unique challenge to construction that required a temporary access road for equipment to reach the post hole locations. Wetland areas and soft soils provided an additional level of challenge to manage to complete the project in its three-month allotted timeframe.
